Hollyandivy
1st November 2011

Middle Ground Theatre Company have been touring Wynyard Browne’s

Christmas drama The Holly and the Ivy for twelve years.

I am joining the cast this year to play Jenny as the production tours the UK.

Set on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day of 1947, the story follows the family

of elderly Reverend Martin Gregory as they come together for the festive

occasion.

Full of family drama, fun and bickering, this funny and heart-warming play is

sure to put a smile on the face of any audience. It's a lovely period piece

set in 1947, perfect for Christmas. It'd be great to see you there!

We will be touring from the 6th November to the 17th December 2011 at the

following locations around the UK:

6th - 12th November at the Leamington Spa Theatre

14th -19th November at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford.

22nd - 26th November at the Civic Theatre Darlington

29th November - 3rd December at the Malvern Theatre

13th - 17th December at the Palace Theatre, Southend-on-Sea.

Here is Andy Bramfitt's very kind review of our performance at the

Civic Theatre Darlington.

Tyrannosaur
18th October 2011

Tyrannosaur is the highly anticipated directorial debut of Paddy Considine.

It is a dark and gritty tale that was filmed entirely on location in Leeds, West

Yorkshire.

Joseph is a violent alcoholic who undergoes a life change after killing his pet

dog in a fit of rage.

Desperate to change his ways and get out of his unpleasant past and

surroundings, he becomes close to local charity shop worker Hannah, a kindly

religious woman who takes pity on him, and they become close friends.

However Hannah has a secret of her own which could plunge Joseph back into

his former life.
